Feeling More Sensitive to the Consequences of My Choices.
I’m such tension because now I’m more sensitive to the effects of my choices, how the world is set up and how relationships are create, and how sex is designed to be. Please help me to know what is happening.
David Hoffmeister: Thanks for writing and sharing what’s on your heart. The desire for sex (and other ego appetites) falls away, usually gradually and progressively through the years of mind training. Enable the Holy Spirit to Guide, and the mind unwinds from everything it believed in and pursued. Yet don’t project awareness to where you think you “want” it to be or “believe” it will be a course in miracles apple podcast. Defenses are outgrown, as a kid outgrows toys that once seemed exciting and enjoyable. The focus is never on the form, but always on the mind training.
I once felt the exact same tension and sensitivity you’re these are, and my first steps in surrendering my entire life to the Holy Spirit was allowing all my emotions to freely arrive at the outer lining of awareness with repressing them. This is intense, and yet with much mind training this eventually passed.
Take the time and inquire about any of it essential question: Where do I believe my safety lies? This whole world—everything that people perceive through the five senses—is created on unconscious fear. Just how can this be? By the energy of our mind. Your brain simply can just only see what it believes, which explains why we must release false beliefs. In the long run, the spiritual journey becomes about facing this unconscious fear. This is the transformation of the projected world into peace. When we perceive something fearful, we are able to always allow ourselves to take the time to pause rather than react. By having a moment to open our minds and invite Holy Spirit into our perception, we invite a miraculous shift in exactly how we see things, and we are able to begin to forget about habitual reacting and conditioned behaviors. We then begin to open up to inspiration.
